Anaesthetist

Catalin Paraian was born in Romania, Bucharest.
He graduated from High school at National College St Sava and received his MD degree at University of Medicine and Pharmacy Carol Davila in Bucharest.

Dr Paraian emigrated to South Africa in 1994,and obtained his Full Registration in 2000. 

Dr Paraian trained in Anaesthesia at Wits Medical School between 2001-2009, afterwards moving into Private Practise.
His professional interests relate to Anaesthesia in Orthopaedic, General, Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic surgeries.
He is married to an Orthopaedic Hand surgeon and has a 17 year old son.
Dr Paraian played tennis as a junior for the Romanian Tennis Academy and his present hobbies include reading history and current affairs books, travelling and occasionally enjoying a game of Padel.
